The purpose of this book is to make visible the Luso-Asians of Sri Lanka, a community whose history dates back to the XVI century and is currently shrinking in size. Despite the lack of resources, the community has remained faithful to its Portuguese roots, trying to keep and preserve the culture with dance and music groups, the teaching of Portuguese Creole to the younger generation as well as some customs and cuisine.
